In the outskirts of Liesing, the 23rd district of Vienna, an Asian restaurant stands out with its delicious dishes. The Quan Kitchen Bar is a pleasant place with a special atmosphere.
What I personally noticed immediately about the Quan Kitchen Bar was the diverse Asian cultural touch. What was interesting was the fact that I talked to my companion about this topic straight away, since usually the first thing people talk about is the food or the menu. In addition, the boss was very courteous and friendly and immediately told us stories about the origin of the furnishings.
Since my companion was very hungry, we just ordered blindly. It started with a classic spring roll , which must have felt very naked and lonely alone on the plate. But surprise, the spring roll was quite tasty. I have to admit it was the best in a long time. The dough was crispy on the outside and not dripping with oil, the filling was tasty with a cabbage filling and minced meat. The self-made ones that followed were the way I like it. Seared and crispy and not cooked like in some restaurants, but that's a matter of taste. The filling with shrimp / wild garlic was my favorite.
There was nothing to complain about with the crispy duck with bean sprouts . The skin was crispy, the meat tender, and the bean sprouts went just right with it.
Black Pepper Beef was a little too spicy for me personally, but that's probably because I can't stand the pepper. The beef was good quality and deliciously tender.
The Salmon Teriyaki was a dream, you can tell the quality of the products. The salmon melts on your tongue.
I was looking forward to the Hong Kong Chili King Prawns the most. In terms of taste, they were very good, but the one drawback was that the prawns weren't as crispy as usual, but I guess that's a complaint on a high level.
Definitely worth a visit and it will certainly not be the last time I've been to eat here. Do you feel like making a picture of it yourself?
